... I mean, either someone's lied about me working, again! Or they have it that I have access to monies I don't; or someone has reported me for working, when I don't. Whichever it is, it's bloody frustrating.

to accomodate a few programmes, I had altered my security setting: ie Active X .. java 2



anyway's.. all way fine with all things, except [seemingly VR] but, the problem was as simpler as some ads VR uses, also use Active X, which I was already having problems with.



Manual removal worked at first; Adaware helped.



But, what fixed the problem was too pissingly simple.



I pressed for 'default setting.'

I had call to block this fwllow ages back. Nasty little piece of work. An irritant of the first order in fact: goes around leaving a low mark.. and, a bible quotation & if you check out the loathesome skunks page, bland.. nothing.. nix.. nada.. bit like it's personality, I guess.

Employment & The Social Partnership

The interview I had the other day with Greenbank, a firm connected with The Future Jobs Fund left me with my head battered, as I sought answers for the questions it through up.



Toward the end of the interview I was being quizzed about my drinking habits: and my past drug habits, having already talked of my past employment history and experiences.



Such was the intensity of the interview, that as I closed the door on the interview, the first words out of my mouth were, “I need a whiskey!”



It’s a pity I had not remembered where I was, when I did so.



But, when it comes down to it, this was just the same as Ambition Health, or Pentra. I made effort in both of those and, after a year, nothing.



Yet, this one doesn’t even give me a year off the dole. As I learnt through the literature provided, the post is for six months. And then, there’s the sheer Hell of signing-on to look forward to, again.



It seems that the reality of ‘work’, with the Social Partnership mean that the people of the Social Partnership have ‘real’ jobs, shuffling ‘US’ from the dole, to training vacancies that provide an employer with ‘free’ labour, as their booklet promotes: then when that contract ends, they move onto the next scheme?



And, while you’re doing one of these course’s, you’re generally too tired, or apathetic by that point, to seek real work. I know that one.

Furthermore, in my time working I have done all these people asked of, yet what role would I have if I get a place with ‘THEM’, but Trainee Support Worker.



Heck, rather than do yet another course that leads to more nothing, I’d rather clean the streets. In fact, I asked about that. They’re not taking on at present.



I’m loath to admit this, but the answer to finding me employment is not to be found in yet another course, but it’s in finding the right assistance to finding a real job.



And, it would seem that is something I cannot, or will not get from The Social Partnership. Yet, knowing that, I am left with more questions than answers.

Jeans ripped, robe pulled over a naked torso; he sits late at night, writing of his experience just a few minutes earlier, when he had stood before the mirror in the bathroom. He had used two fingers from each hand, to draw the skin gently from the eye-line, to pull out all those deep ingrained lines, to seemingly remove thirty years all-in-one move, to make him look thirty years younger. And, he wonders why does he need to write of his fear of age and loss of youth, to the ravages of passing time?

And, all of this highlighted by one simple action. Furthermore, he wonders why he feels the need to write of this in third person? That is a curiosity and, seems strange.

Then he stood and flexed his fingers, looking down at the joints in his hands, that no longer work as well as they once did. And, very briefly he wonders, “Why am I put on this Earth, to learn of the Beauty of Life, just to know it for a few short years?”
